Dominique Chestand is a multimedia artist and arts administrator from Chicago. Her work explores the experiences of Black, queer, woman, and otherwise marginalized identities. The disciplines Chestand practices include writing, film, comedy, gastronomy, theater, and visual art.

Chestand is a graduate of the nationally-acclaimed Chicago Academy for the Arts, where she studied Theater and Drama. She holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison in Theatre and Communication Arts, with a focus in Film, Radio, and Television.

As a performer, Chestand has performed on the stages of New York, Chicago, Mexico, the Republic of Panama, the United Kingdom, Holland, Denmark and Canada.

As an arts administrator and consultant, Chestand has worked with organizations such as the Danish Arts Council, Young Chicago Authors, the Los Angeles Dance Project, the Chicago Park District, Redmoon Theater, the Office of Public Art - Pittsburgh, and more.

She is a recipient of the 2022 Diversity Scholarship at Arcade Comedy Theater and the Advancing Black Arts in Pittsburgh Award for her project, Broke Babe Supper Club.
